Data we process
Account email, authentication and consent records; profile and character settings; conversations, memory and prompts; generated media; payment-order and credit-ledger records; and support reports are processed to operate the features you use. Do not provide sensitive information you do not want processed.
Purposes and providers
Data is used to operate accounts and requested features, authenticate access, fulfil purchases, respond to requests and investigate abuse. Cloudflare hosts the application, database and private media. Venice processes AI requests and their necessary context. Resend delivers transactional email. PayRam processes payment invoices. Optional Google Analytics, TrafficJunky and TrafficStars measurement are described below. Provider processing and transfers must be considered when using the service; this notice does not promise that providers never retain data.
Optional measurement
Unless you decline measurement or send a supported browser privacy signal, Google Analytics receives general page views, completed signups and checkout starts, a cookie identifier and browser/device information. Configured events exclude email, chat text, form contents and character names. Our tracker records general page/step paths, active time, approximate country/region/city, campaign attribution and pseudonymous session identifiers. A measured connection IP is retained privately for up to seven days and is not sent to Google Analytics or ad networks. It is not an exact address or identity.
Advertising and choices
For visitors arriving with a TrafficStars click ID, conversion attribution is enabled by default unless measurement is declined or a supported browser privacy signal is sent. TrafficStars click attribution is retained for up to 30 days. TrafficJunky attribution uses the separate advertising measurement choice. Signup, email verification and confirmed purchase events may include value and an opaque event ID, never chat content or email. Use Privacy choices to decline or withdraw optional measurement. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track suppress optional measurement. Withdrawal stops future reporting and queues deletion of linked first-party tracker records; it does not recall data already delivered to external recipients.
Retention
Journey and click records expire after up to 90 days; consented connection IPs expire after seven days. Browser measurement choices last 30 days. Private content is retained for the requested account features until deleted or account closure cleanup. Payment and security records may be retained separately. New complaint records are retained while open and for 90 days after closure unless subject to a documented legal hold. These schedules do not imply that every operational log or financial record shares the same retention period.
Security and access
Private conversation fields and new complaint payloads are encrypted in storage. Access is restricted, but no system is perfectly secure. This is not an end-to-end encrypted messaging service: servers and the configured AI provider process text to provide responses. Publicly shared profile information can be seen by others.
Your requests
Use account export/closure controls or the public reporting form for access, correction, deletion, consent or privacy questions. We may need proportionate identity verification before releasing private records. Do not upload identity documents in the complaint form. Rights and response deadlines depend on your location. If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland: processing rests on contract (operating the features you request), legitimate interests (security and abuse prevention) and your measurement choices (analytics); you may access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your local supervisory authority; international transfers to the United States rely on the providers’ published safeguards, including standard contractual clauses. If you are a resident of California or another US state with a consumer privacy law: you may request access, correction and deletion; we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and Global Privacy Control is honored for optional measurement. Requests made through the channels above are answered within the time required by the applicable law.
Anonymous activity counters
Anonymous measurement counts general page views and credit/checkout button actions by hour. These counters contain no visitor IDs, account IDs, IP addresses, precise timestamps, URLs, or chat/form content, and are not shared with ad networks. Repeat views count again. Existing measurement declines and browser privacy signals are respected. Google Analytics and first-party journey measurement are enabled by default; use Privacy choices to decline. Existing declines and browser privacy signals remain respected.
